The Dixie Chicks Were Right!

Natalie Maines, of the Dixie Chicks, came under fire in 2003 for telling a London audience on the eve of the Iraq war she was "ashamed" the president was from their home state. Following the comment the group had to install metal detectors at their shows because of death threats.

Three years later the American people have caught up with Maines, and have given this president his lowest approval rating to date -- 34 percent.

The Dixie Chicks are back in the news with the release of a new single, "
Not Ready to Make Nice." The song addresses the controversy head on, with Maines singing in the chorus, "I'm not ready to make nice. I'm not ready to back down. I'm still mad as hell and I don't have time to go round and round and round."

If you agree with the Dixie Chicks let your money do your talking -- go out and buy their new CD. And call country radio stations and ask that they play "Not Ready to Make Nice" -- heck, ask every radio station in your community to play the song! It's very likely that 66 percent of the people listening will agree!
