Crime and Punishment ... and Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has certainly proven that she's no Martha Stewart! Martha Stewart is a smart business woman, more attractive than Paris ... and clearly has more stamina. Geezzz, what did Paris do, hold her breath until the Sheriff's office decided to let her out of the slammer? Losing the hair extensions must have zapped all of her strength.

Now the professional party girl will serve the remainder of her sentence confined to her mansion in West Hollywood, which would sort of be like sentencing me to house arrest at the local Ben & Jerry's. How bad could it be?

To add insult to non-injury, creative math by the sheriff's department has Hilton serving five days of her 45 day sentence -- even though she checked in late Sunday night and back out early Thursday morning.

Genarlow Wilson's family and friends need to encourage him to hold his breath until he's released from prison. I'm sure he would get the same consideration as Paris Hilton. Their cases are very similar: She was driving around town drunk, placing at risk everyone she encountered ... while he, at the age of 17, had the nerve to have consensual oral sex with his 15-year-old girlfriend -- placing NO ONE at risk.

Genarlow has already served more than two years of a 10 year sentence.

Paris Hilton's release after three days and a few hours proves there is no justice.

Spoiled little rich girl has been taken back literally kicking and screaming like a three year old denied a new toy.
After all there's no real issues or news to report for the next six months if we can stay focused on this little drama.

Isn't it sad.

Great post. Either story by itself boggles the mind. Put them side by side, and the comparison is stunning.
