H/t to Blue Gal. I watched the program, but didn't realize the clip was available. I'm a big fan of Janeane Garofalo.
Don't agonize, organize ... that's my mantra. Change won't happen unless you work to make it happen! But sometimes even your best efforts don't provide the results you were looking for. Or sometimes a situation is just so completely outrageous that all you can do is say ... YIKES!

This was so great to see. I have a very conflicted relationship with Israel.
While Catholic, my father was from a Jewish family and I am very much in touch with all of my roots. I have been to Israel two times and I have family over there.
While I fully support the right of Israel to exist I must ask as a human being... At what cost? just as JG did on Maher.
In this country- often even with otherwise very progressive people, the conversation stops at the mention of Israel.
Like JG did we must get this topic on the table and keep it there. It can't be held aside. Plus, the US can not continue to act unilaterally and so agressively in lockstep with Israel.
I've been struggling with posting on this topic but now may be the time for me to begin.
