Don't agonize, organize ... that's my mantra. Change won't happen unless you work to make it happen! But sometimes even your best efforts don't provide the results you were looking for. Or sometimes a situation is just so completely outrageous that all you can do is say ... YIKES!

BAC, I like the way this guy riffed on the President, but I'm not sure why this qualifies as poetry. It sounds and feels more like ranting in verse; that somehow, the depth and meaning of the words get lost in between the pauses for appluase.
I love Def Poetry with Mos Def. I miss not having HBO for this show and only this show. It is supposed to be hard and this man does a good job of it.
Sparticus - When I was first introduced to this form of poetry it was referred to as "slam" poetry. I really liked it, and Brian seems to do a good job. I just watched his one man show -- The Jesus Factor -- this afternoon, and it was great, so decided to share him with others.
Boxer - I don't watch Def Poetry all that much, but I do enjoy it.
