The Chesapeake Challenge

Tomorrow is the big day, when I finally get to cast my vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton. You simply need to listen to her to know that she is the most qualified person for the job. Sen. Clinton presents concrete plans for solving our problems -- Obama presents platitude's. Whether it's health care, fixing the economy, global warming, or getting our troops out of Iraq, Senator Clinton clearly offers the best solutions.

From MyDD. This stands out:

During the half-hour conversation, she said that when she hears Obama’s oratory about a more civil politics, she wonder what fights he would avoid. “You never hear the specifics,” Clinton said. “It’s all this kind of abstract, general talk about how we all need to get along. I want to get along, and I have gotten along, in the Senate. I will work with Republicans to find common cause whenever I can. But I will also stand my ground because there are fights worth having.”

Good voting to you.

I did an open thread about the two candidates yesterday and there were many interesting comments.

Yet I remain that unmoved by either I hate to say.

That said, one of my commenters- a new blog friend - posted this link to his blog. I found it quite interesting and well put.

And I think you are correct when you say that she is clearer about specifics than he is.

Also- I am not convinced he can keep the church/state thing as separate as I would like.

There's nothing like voting for a candidate that you truly believe is the best for the job. Enjoy!

I'm so tired of hearing about how she is losing the race and everyone wants her to pack up and leave. Not to say I'm not nervous about the outcome, I think Obama would be a disaster for this country and our party.

Fran is also correct...Obama will put in very conservative judges on the Supreme Court--the kind that would be approved of by his church. Of course, he'll say he picked them because they can be approved by the Republicans and it's all about unity, ya know....

That's just the spin with which the media are currently enamored. Here's a different view. Remember how wrong the polls were in New Hampshire.

FranThouArt, thanks for the link!
