Clinton 55% ..... Obama 45%
Don't agonize, organize ... that's my mantra. Change won't happen unless you work to make it happen! But sometimes even your best efforts don't provide the results you were looking for. Or sometimes a situation is just so completely outrageous that all you can do is say ... YIKES!

But here's what she does have: total shamelessness, and an absolute belief that she is the rightful nominee. Shamelessness: the appropriation of the message and even the words of her opponent; the portrayal of one of the most privileged and advantaged candidates in memory as an insurgent underdog; the eager embrace of the tactics - and message! - of the Rove right if it could help in any way; the picture of a candidate who saw a 20 - 25 point lead dissipate into single figures as a candidate for momentum. What sustains her is this deep, deep sense of entitlement and an absolute refusal to let the next generation take over. She will take this to the last day of the convention if necessary.
Andrew Sullivan used to be one of my favorite bloggers, but his Clinton-bashing has gotten so obsessive and vicious and just plain weird that I quit reading him. He's unhinged on the subject, frankly.
Counting Florida and Michigan, even giving most of the Michigan undecided vote to Obama, the popular vote is now within 100,000 out of over 30 million cast. It's essentially a tie -- and Clinton seems to have the momentum. She's got as much right to go on with the race as Obama does.

Vigilante - why should any Democrat listen to Andrew Sullivan??? I agree with Infidel, Sen. Clinton has every right to stay in this race.
