What are these people so afraid of? Lesbians and gay men have been living among them forever, and it's had on impact on their lives.
And unlike what NOM suggests, marriage equality isn't going to force anyone to take part in a marriage ceremony of same-sex couples.
Marriage equality is definitely a church-state separation issue. Groups like NOM make it so. We must never allow ONE narrow religious point of view to be enshrined into law. Religious freedom is just that -- everyone having a Constitutional right to follow the religious tenants of their choice ... or none at all.

Ha! Did you make the first video? That's great!
Other than it forced me to watch the original NOM Ad (for context), these videos were brilliant.
In the end, as Wanda says, there's really only one response needed:
If you don't believe in same sex marriage -- don't don't marry someone of the same sex.
OMG....This cartoon is so funnneee. You've pretty much nailed the rightwingnuts to their Sarah Palin "White Trash With Money" crosses. I'm white so I can talk about my white counterparts as I see fit.
You are really a gifted artist.
I'm doing drive by comments today on everybodies B.A.T. blogs.
Your entry is great.
I swear. They need to let this issue go. With everything else that's going on, it's just ridiculous that the religious right is focusing on reigniting the culture wars.
The computer 'toon was great! Gotta give that a try myself. I'll 'fess up to having to stifle a silly chortle toward the end - my partner would've thought me nuts for laughing for no apparent reason for the 20th time today.
