My good friend Fran sent this to me a few days ago, and I just got around to watching it. NYS Senator Diane Savino is absolutely correct in her assessment of the "marriage debate." Too bad we don't have thousands more like her in state legislatures all across the country! Too bad we don't have a Congress filled with people who have her understanding and insight. How long must we wait for basic equality?
Don't agonize, organize ... that's my mantra. Change won't happen unless you work to make it happen! But sometimes even your best efforts don't provide the results you were looking for. Or sometimes a situation is just so completely outrageous that all you can do is say ... YIKES!

buried in the constitution i s a little line about not having religion as a test and or course the separation of church and state
but like everything in this country - why bother following a bunch of little rules when they dont fit your agenda.
