Edwards Household Mirrors Nation

Former presidential candidate John Edwards has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama. Noticeably absent from the announcement -- his wife Elizabeth. It appears the Edwards household mirrors the Democratic Party.

Edwards made an incredibly gracious comment about Sen. Clinton as he began his remarks:

"It is very very hard to get up every day and do what she's done. It is hard to get out there and fight and speak up when the odds turn against you. What she has shown is strength and character and what drives her is something that each and every one of us should appreciate. She cares about working people...men and women in Iraq...she is a woman made of steel and she is a leader in this country not because of her husband but because of what she has done...When this nomination battle is over, brothers and sisters, we must come together as Democrats and in the fall stand up for the future of America to make America better. We are a stronger party because Hillary Clinton is a Democrat...and we will have a stronger presidential nominee in the fall because of her work."
So true. And as to be expected, the Obama crowd booed. That "uniter" thing doesn't seem to be working.

Elizabeth Edwards has been critical of Obama's health care policy, saying that Sen. Clinton has the better plan. Her absents today from the announcement seems to send a clear message that she is not on board with Obama. I knew I liked her for more than one reason!

I got a fundraising letter from him today and I made it very clear that in order to have "An America We Can Believe In", we need Democratic candidates that we can believe in. Obviously he was not telling us the truth when he said he would fight for us to have Universal Health Care for all Americans. I then told him to take me off his mailing list.

All his nice words about Hillary are as phony as his promises for an America that will help it's poor and middle class. Axelrod hired him on for one reason, to try and shmooze the white working voters.

The Obama crowd booed? WTF is the matter with those people? Misogyny? Stupidity? Sore winners? I just don't get it.
