Marie Osmond: So What if my Daughter's Gay?

Good for you Marie! And BTW ... you look fabulous!

I remember the day I fell in like with Marie Osmond.

It happened years ago when I was watching an episode of "Hollywood Squares and Marie and Donny were the guests. During the show, Donny (as usual) said something that was stupid and incredibly insensitive.

As everybody else cringed with embarrassment (Donny, of course, was clueless), Marie looked at her brother and said, "My God, I hope it's not genetic."

Throughout her career, Marie always came across as a smart, gracious, and honest woman who wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and this interview quietly reaffirmed her integrity and strength of character.

When it's so easy to be loud, angry and cruel these days, Marie Osmond did a very brave thing: she dared to be kind.

I agree ... and come to think of it, I'm in-like with her, too!

Quite a change from her youth.

Mmmmm, a little bit country!

She's certainly aged well -- in all respects. Good on you, Marie, good on you.
